Bernese Mountain Dog is a large dog breed, one of the four breeds of Sennenhund-type. They are excellent guardians and were originally kept as a general farm dogs. Bernese only attacks if really needed. They usually need activity and exercise. These breeds have an average height of 64–70 cm and weight ranges of 35–55 kg. Bernese Mountain Dog can suffer from ears infection, so special attention should be paid to the ears.
